You are purchasing a professionally made O Scale Corrigan Station CityScape built-up shadowbox elevation fabricated by Todd Architectural Models & Layouts. When assembled, this shadowbox measures 1” deep. This particular shadowbox is modeled after the Corrigan Station Building that was built in Kansas City in 1921.

Originally designed for 5-stories, the Corrigan sisters developed the building at 10-stories after securing a lease with the US Postal Service in honor of Thomas Corrigan, the first to bring mule-drawn street cars to Kansas City after the Civil War. The Corrigan Station Building also housed the Donnelly Garment Company, the nation’s largest dress manufacturing label for a period of time, between 1927 and 1948. The building is located at the corner of Walnut and 19th Streets, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Todd Architectural Models & Layouts Models has designed the Corrigan Station Building model using the original design drawings and historic photographs. There are subtle design differences between elevations and a unique window lite pattern that make the Corrigan Station Building particularly interesting to model. It is offered in both 5- and 10-story versions, and with Walnut Street and 19th Street elevations.</
