You are purchasing a professionally made O Scale shadowbox fabricated by Todd Architectural Models & Layouts. This building measures 1” deep. This particular building is modeled after the D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co. building that was located in York, PA. This project is the first of an intended series of models of historical buildings in York whose releases will coincide with the April and October TCA Train Meets. The D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Company was run for many generations by the same family and is credited with inventing the animal cracker.
 
This building model will be limited to a production run of 100 pieces assembled 10 at a time.
 
This historic building YORK-1-BUILDING, will measure approximately 18” long and will be 4-stories tall, about 10”. The model will feature historically correct painted building signage applied directly to the building using a laser scored masking technique. 
 
Each model will come with the four floors individually lit using 12V DC LED strip lighting. The wires will be hidden in a square tube styrene chase so they are unseen if you elect to have clear glazing. The rear panel of the building is removable to allow for the addition of aftermarket interior decoration.
 
Each shadowbox is constructed of laser scored and cut acrylic plastic and Taskboard, and is professionally finished to be individually unique. Windows are fabricated using two layers of laser cut Lazerboard for sashes and frames. You may specify clear, translucent, Roscolux Gray or Roscolux with translucent glazing. Fascia are built-up styrene. Each shadow box set is made at ¼” = 1’-0” scale and will be a welcome addition to your O Scale layout.
